Welcome to We’re Not Stumped! – Podcast Guest Guide
For those in the Limb Loss / Limb Difference Community
First off, thank you for your consideration in becoming a guest! We’re truly excited to have you join us on the We’re Not Stumped podcast. Your story matters, and we’re honored to help you share it with our audience.
🎙️ Our Purpose
The heart of our podcast is storytelling. We invite you to share your journey—your challenges, victories, insights, and everything in between. Whether you were born with a limb difference or became an amputee later in life, your experiences will offer inspiration and connection to others navigating similar paths.
💬 Talking Points
Here’s a basic outline of what to expect during your episode (20–45 minutes in length, sometimes longer):
-
“In Your Own Words”
We always start with this open-ended segment. Tell your story in a way that feels natural to you. You’re welcome to start from childhood—or wherever your journey feels most meaningful. -
Challenges
What obstacles have you faced, and how did you overcome them? Share anything that shaped your path or helped build your resilience. -
Acceptance & Perception
How have your friends, family, and the public responded to your disability or unique situation? What have you learned about connection and inclusion? -
Silver Linings
What positive outcomes or unexpected blessings have emerged from your journey? -
Prosthetics
If you use prosthetics, feel free to share your experience—what works, what doesn’t, and how they’ve impacted your life. If you’re comfortable, we welcome you to show them on camera.
🎧 Please let us know in advance if there’s anything you’d prefer not to discuss. Your comfort always comes first.
